Hi,

As a doctor, let me assure you that in the hands of a good surgeon, the whole procedure is easy to tolerate. Recovery takes some time, about 4 weeks to a few months, it varies. Sometimes recovery may not be complete, but will be enough to get fully functional. Hearing loss is rare. Loss of sweat in the face is more common.

My uncle also had the same surgery, and he is doing very well. Hope you too have a recovery just like his.

Regards
