i had surgery on my hand a year ago and ....

I had hand surgery a year ago and i still have a burning pain in my pinky finger side of the hand at the wrist it stays swollen any ideas as to why?

Sounds like they may have injuried your ulna nerve.  Could also be CRPS (Chronic Regional Pain syndrome)  It is an awful painful thing.  Check with your DR. Dont stop and prisist they do EMG and stay on your DR.
