post pump chorea

my son has just been diagnosed with post pump chorea. Has anyone else had a child that has experienced the same condition. I can't find much information on it and if the child will make a full recovery.

Hi , How is your son doing now? My son diagnosed 5th april 12 and his neurologist has started him on the medication Haloperidol and what an improvement! He can now talk again, his jerking movements have calmed right down, but still has no use off his right arm. I can't thank my neurologist enough he has been fantastic. I hope your son is well, please let me know how he is getting on, kind regards Cerys.
