right mastoiditis

Recently got an MRI done. I have really bad memory problems, really hampering my day-to-day activities (I'm 24). So I went to see a neurosurgeon. On his suggestion got the MRI done. Normal except "incidentally noted right mastoiditis". Now I also have trouble in my ears. I believe my hearing is really bad, there is always some tenderness/pain/discomfort in my ear, and sometimes there is pain in a vein just along the ear, and it feels as if the vein is pulsating. happens in both the ears, though rarely simultaneously. What shd i do? and should i go to neurosurgeon only or should i consult an ENT too?

Hello! I am experiencing the same issues as you, NG113. I was wondering if you ever resolved this and what was the diagnosis? Hope all is well. Peace and love.

I came down with acute bacterial meningitis. Cause was a mystery. However, CT scan showed problem with right mastoid. I feel as though the right ear is blocked. ENT doctor said there is fluid that I may need surgery for removal. I feel off-balance at times and my memory is suddenly awful. I hear popping sounds constantly. Hearing is not as sharp as it was.
