shivering in body

hi friends , i am a 35 yrs mother of two kids.i am having some shivering like condition in my limbs [ both hands and legs]. it is very mild and can be observed if i hold something in my hands or very careful monitoring my hands.i had it since my childhood as many of my classmates use to ask why ur hands shiver? i could never accept it as a child that i had some problem of this kind.i was very good and normal in my routine works.but this condition is increasing with age.now i feel very concious in the public gatherings. i have no medical problem otherwise.if anybody could help me regain my confidence.thanx.

You might be short of B1 and B6. Give that a try. If it doesn't help you might want to see a neurologist.

Hi there.  Essential tremor is a type of involuntary shaking movement where no cause can be identified. The specific cause is unknown and could be due to cerebellum getting affected. This can also occur with dystonias, Parkinsonism, etc. certain symptoms could be head nodding, shaking of sound if tremor affects the voice box. Usually these are seen when you move and may worsen with stress, caffeine, drugs. You need to consult a neurologist for assessment. Treatment involves certain drugs like propranolol and primidone , which is an anti convulsant. Hope this helps. Take care.
