slight pressure feeling in the head?uneasy feeling? anxiety? stress?

For the past 2-3 days I have this pressure feeling in my head, I cant really pinpoint where exactly it is but its somewhr btw the top and back of my head. The feelin is so mild and slight and too hard to explain and I find this too weird. The feeling is more like the one u get after removing a helmet that you have been wearing for a long time. I cant call it numbness coz I don’t really know what that means?? I don’t know what could I attribute this uneasy feeling to. I would also like to put that that I hve been on a lot of stress and anxiety lately due to a lot of personal problems. Its just been a week I got bak from a country in the Mideast where I was workin and eva since I got back I ve nt been getting much sleep. I stay up late thru the night readin or watchin tv till 2 or 3 in the night hopin I could overcome the stress im on . but since yesterday I started sleepin on time and I feel like that the pressure feeling has receded a bit . I m planning to go see my general medical practitioner or physician to see if he has a solution to this. I don’t know if m a hypochondriac or anything but im so very worried at the moment.. Please Help.

Plzz somebody help me....
When i was around 18 years old, i was preparing for the toughest exam(IIT).At that time i used to get study around 5 to 6 hours at one sitting. After some time of preparation, i found a weird behaviour in my right leg.some type of vibration was taking place in that part so i started to feel uneasiness in my leg.ithe main symptom of that uneasiness was that i cud not keep my leg at one place more than 2 or 3 minutes.then,i consulted to a doc but i cudnt get any relief from his presicription. As the time passed, around 2 or 3 months later, this vibration moved to my right hand and then to whole right part of my body.then i again consulted to higher grade doc or HOD of neurosurgeon at AIIMS.on his advice some check ups and tests like MRI etc were made on me but they were worthless. In report,he didnt mention any illness and cudnot tell the reason behind this prob.according to him everythng was OK.however, he prescribed some medicines to me but they all were finally useless.till then, i had done a lot on my body like exercises, Yoga.i started more and more sportic activities.During my college days, due to these jumping activities, suddenly i noticed some swelling was taking place inmy right scrotum ball.on a Doc's advice, i went for ultrasound on  that part but it was also of worthless.i again tuk a lot of medicines to get some relief but the thng is i m still suffering from these uneasiness and swelling.wenever this uneasiness takes place immensly, more pain i feel in that sweeling portion.i dontknow this swelling is corelated to this uneasiness or not???wat it is???now this ques has become not only of mine but of all the docs, aurvedic consulates whose prescriptions i have taken.
Can aneone help me to get rid of knowing this illness and to tell me the remedy for this. I will be higly obliged to that person.

My dear friend,

Thanks a lot for your input, first of all !

And hey, I got it checked. Kind of relieved at the moment. I was diagnosed with high BP.
A bit higher for a 23 year old. Attributed it to the stress and anxiety I'm on. Asked me to relax, Chill. Had a ECG, blood and urine check. Everything was normal. No signs of diabetes or anything as such. Prescribed me a few meds, mainly stress relievers. Hope that helps.

You have no idea how much your input helped :)
God Bless You!

Hi there. First of all you need to try to calm down. We all get unusual sensations in our bodies. The extra stress your under could be contributing to this. Your nerves are in a heightened state which can contribute to many strange feelings. And these strange feelings can cause one to have panic attacks which it sounds like you may be having. I will relate a story very briefly that will explain what I mean. My mother called me at work one day all upset. I could tell she was having a panic attack. She said she was experiencing tingling and numbness in her left hand and she was so concerned it was a heart attack that she brought a panic attack on herself. Just the sensation she was feeling in her hand was enough to bring on the panic attack. I rushed home only to discover after questioning her, that she had chopped some jalapeno peppers earlier that day and what she was feeling was the pepper juices still on her fingers. So moral of the story. Don't let body sensations, especially mild ones, throw you into a panic. Go to your doctor and make sure you explain everything to him/her. Write it down if you think you might forget anything. I really believe you are having panic attacks which can be easily helped. Good luck and let us know what happens please.
