Thank you for your kind reply, since I am not a right medical person I understood a little from you. In the same time he is under the medication for his angioplasty and it is all directed by his doctor from Global Trust Hospital Chennai. Now from your reply I verywell understood that this is not a neuro issue (as we expected) it is purely some kind of Cardiac issue. So can you gude me how to approach our doctor regarding this, If you do so it would be very much helpful to us.
Thanks in advance for your kind help.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there. The causes of dizziness or giddiness can be many involving various systems like postural hypotension, cerebrovascular disease, and cardiac arrhythmias. Certain neurological conditions like benign intracranial hypertension, peripheral neuropathy, meniere’s disease, vestibular migraine etc. various metabolic causes can also cause giddiness like hypoglycemia, hypothyroidism, anemia, panic attacks.  Your neurologist should rule out cervical spondylosis, rheumatoid arthritis, alcoholism, and as a side effect to various antihypertensive and anti arrhythmic. Your dad has ischemic heart disease, needs to undergo a detailed evaluation for cerebrovascular disease and other possible etiologies. Dizziness needs to be distinguished as to whether it is vertigo, presyncope, disequilibrium, or non-specific dizziness. Therapy would be according to the cause and diagnosis. Hope this helps. Take care.
