You don't have "muscle compression". You have nerve compression, etiology unkown, in several places along your spinal column but common with degenerative arthritis. Often there is a genetic componant.

Needless to say you need an in-person evaluation by physicians to determine if this condition can be arrested, stabilized, or if there is treatment. There are a few new protocols and drugs that may be very helpful.

Arm and neck problems can be caused from compression or aggravation on the nerves in the neck.  This can be from "muscle knots" or from degeneration in the spine.

Sensations that are felt in the leg can be caused from impingement of nerves or aggravation of the sciatic nerve causing sciatica.

The symptoms that you describe will highly likely be related to spinal problems.

The only way to find out is to book an appointment to see your doctor and for imaging to be done to find out what is going in with your spine.

The doctor may refer you to a physiotherapist so that you can be given specific exercises to do and advice on lifting and moving things to avoid more damage. There are some antidepressants that are prescribed for nerve pain.
