undiagnosed neuro symptoms

Hi,

What would be list of possible causes for following symptom set, I am male age 30:-

Main Symptoms occurring in last 4 month..
1. Feelings of weak / fatigued legs, however no actual loss of strength noticed - occurs generally all day.
2. Same as no 1 except in arms less common / occasionally
3. Sharp pain top and back of head, may last seconds or 1-2 hours - occurs every day
4. Excessive eye floating black dots - daily
5. Short term memory not very good
6. Pain in centre of soles feet, mainly left foot, also right but less common
7. Back pain in spine at level of bottom rib cage, pain occurs after repeated bending movement e.g. after gardening or housework, often follows with burning sensation from same area spine or whole body feeling shaky

Less common symptoms in last 4 month (short time daily / every other day)

8. burning pain back of hamstrings (both legs same time) or in wrists
9. strange feelings in knees "not right", or back lower leg (sorry I cannot describe sensation)
10. tingling feelings in spine, lips, nose - these less common, maybe experience every other day
11 wake up in night and left arm pins and needles / numb (only effects left arm) - takes 5 seconds before fingers will move - occurs maybe 1-2 times per week
12. tingling feelings in fingers when using vibrating equipment e.g. power tools (guess this may just be normal)

Long term health issues....
Chronic constipation undiagnosed since age 13, eat healthy diet, fresh blood in most stools, last year constipation has become worse, some yellow mucus when wiping hours after bowel movement also small amount on stool itself

Chronic eustation tube disfunction last 4 years on and off.

--------------------------------------------------------

Would vitamin deficiency B12, Calcium or vit D cause this?
Would anxiety be possible (although I am not emotionally in any anxious state)?
Would rheumatoid arthritis be possible?

Thanks for any comment,

Thanks very much for your comments, this is very helpful

I had a neuro examination yesterday, my reflexes / touch / strength etc was fine

They are going to MRI scan my head and spine

They will also test for vitamin deficiency

I will post back when I get some more results

I would be requesting MRI's done, evoked potential for your limbs for sure and perhaps even a lumbar puncture. If you do not have a neurologist, try to get a referral.

It took years for me to get a solid diagnosis of MS which only came about because I had moderate eye pain (the rest of the leg/hip/neck pain was never considered by any of my doctors). We believe that the MS has been with me for years at this point.

I'm not suggesting AT ALL that MS is your problem at all, I am suggesting that being your own advocate and trying to keep plugging away with your medical team is your best bet! It seems that you are keeping really great track of what is going on with you so KUDOS to you!! I wish you the best of luck. Sometimes an answer is way better than the unknown and the "there is nothing wrong with you".

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi!

Based on the symptoms provided by you, the cause could be spinal nerve compression in the neck region, vitamin B12 deficiency, Crohn’s or IBS or celiac or ulcerative colitis (since you have chronic constipation and blood in stool—can even be piles or hemorrhoids), peripheral neuropathy due to diabetes, hypothyroidism, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis etc, or low vitamin D or testosterone. It can also be chronic fatigue syndrome. Do discuss this with your doctor and get yourself examined. Take care!

The medical advice given should not be considered a substitute for medical care provided by a doctor who can examine you. The advice may not be completely correct for you as the doctor cannot examine you and does not know your complete medical history. Hence this reply to your post should only be considered as a guiding line and you must consult your doctor at the earliest for your medical problem.
