Did they ever check you magnesium levels? Many Americans have too much calcium because they have too little magnesium. This can happen by using too much dairy, which is pushed by the dairy industry, which is very high in calcium but without magnesium, and eating too few green leafy vegetables, which is the best source of both calcium and magnesium in the proper balance. These two minerals must be in proper balance -- too much of either can leach out the other. One way, in fact, to reduce excess calcium is by increasing magnesium intake. Just a thought, because this may have nothing to do with what you're suffering.
Hello,
The normal values of calcium range from 8.5 to 10.2 mg/dL.It may vary slightly among different laboratories. What are your symptoms? A complete medical history, clinical examination and test results should be known before arriving at a suitable diagnosis and providing you with differentials for your symptoms. Treatment will be specific based on the cause. Hope it helped.
Best wishes and regards!
