As usual, I will suggest you don't look at the website above -- Atkins has been proven not to work and to not be healthy. There are many better options. And just to be clear, you're not on a no-carb diet -- vegetables and fruits and beans also contain carbs. I assume what you mean is you're not eating simple carbs, or I hope that's what you mean. Being too austere in your diet can be a problem, especially if you're diet is unbalanced. In Oriental medicine, for example, if you eat too yang, which means mostly animal and protein, you will crave sweets, which are very yin to balance you out. Even if you don't believe in the concepts of yin and yang, balance is generally accepted as best, and going too far in one direction can lead to cravings in the opposite direction. Just lose the weight slowly on a permanently altered diet that works for you, and if it doesn't taste good, it isn't working for you. Cookbooks can help with this.
Atkins has very good low carb products! some only have 2 net carbs and 3 net carbs. Do what you're doing and yes no simple carbs.
Eating Healthy diet does not ensure that you will lose weight. Your weight is a balance between the calories you take in and the calories you burn. You will lose weight if you burn off more calories than you take in, and you will gain weight if you eat more calories than you burn off.
