I am full after eatting very little

I used to be able to eat so much. Now (for the past 3 months) I just eat the tiniest amount and I am extremely full. Seriously I will take three bites and my stomach begins to hurt. I've also been bloated a lot which has never happened before. Also in the last three months I have gone from 117 pounds to 124. I have no idea what is wrong.

After reading your post above - I have to ask....
How long did it take for you to resume regualr activities (work..kids...life in general).

I have been recently diagnosed.  It has only been 3 weeks and I too have been frustrated beyond belief.  (I have been dealing with this and misdiagnosed for over a year now). With a family...of course, they still have to eat and it all looks good, but 1 bite can cause me major pain.
I am currently on liquids and have seen a little improvement, but curious as to when I should resume a "full liquid" or small meals diet.  I would assume eating again would improve my fatgue and weakness.

Any advise would be extremly helpful.

Thanks so much!

google gastoparesis.  early fullness is a hallmark symptom of this condition.  i had it for about 6 months earlier this year and it was absolutely horrible and took so much from me as a person.  i experienced dramatic weight loss as a result of not eating enough, so the fact that you're gaining weight is a bit strange to me.

anyway - look up gastroparesis and see if it fits your symptoms.  unexplained weight gain often is a flag for thyroid problems as well, so your best bet is to see a doctor for some routine blood work to use as a jumping off point.

good luck.  i completely understand how utterly miserable it is to feel hungry and sick and full all at the same time.  i lived through it and am SO thankful it disappeared (as idiopathic gastroparesis sometimes does) and hope your experience with this fullness is also only a season and not a lifelong thing.
