Nausea at sight of food

I've been feeling like this for a week now, intense pain in my upper abdomen and litteraly managing a few mouth fulls of food a day! I've actually only been sick once at the very start but nothing else. I've had this type of this before but I go to the doctors and say it's jus my period or something and send me off with painkillers but it's not helping. I'm constantly taking days off school to rest and go sleep for days but exams are coming so I don't know what to do. Everybody says its cramps and it'll go away but I've had cramps and it's way worse than silly cramps. Need advice desperately in sick and tired of this! HELPP!!?!

Upper abdomen doesn't sound like cramps. Ovaries are lower than the knicker line and period cramps dont usually last more than 3 days

Have you had your gallbladder checked? I had a lot of the same issues and it turned out my gallbladder was only functioning at 10%.
