Hi. I've been on high doses of B6 for 6 months now to reduce my LDL cholesterol and raise my HDL. It worked well, but yesterday I had an incident about 30 minutes after taking the vitamin where I became flushed and the prickly sensation evolved into pain. Within minutes I felt weak and dizzy. Since I thought I might pass out, I lay down on the floor but was afraid I'd pass out and no one would find me so got out to find my phone. When I entered the kitchen, I must have fainted or at least I fell forward, striking my head on the edge of the iron burner, my check on the granite countertop and fell to the floor. I was in a puddle of blood from my head wound and still have an indentation. Needless to say, I went to the ER and they checked me out and nothing was broken or bleeding internally. Today I look like a monster from an old movie, but I'm in one piece. I assume it was the B6 that did me in. Has anyone else ever experienced anything like this? I was on about 300 mg when it happened.
