b12 shot

My doctor gave me a b2 shot yesterday.  She then gave me an order to have blood work done.  One of the tests will report my b12 levels.  Since I had the shot, I am sure it will affect the test results.  How long should I wait to have the blood work done?  I really want to get an accurate result, since I think my B12 is normally low.  thank you.

If you suspect it is low take sublingual vit B!2 that you dissolve under your tongue. They work as well as the shots and if you get too much it gets flushed out in your urine.

If your doctor wanted you to get blood work done, then have it done. Vitamin B12 is a water-soluble vitamin so it does not stay in the body's fat cells as the fat-soluble vitamins such as Vitamin A, or E which would have an effect on blood work.
