I second that, this is a dangerous game you're playing and it could seriously harm your body.
A lot of cases of pica can be treated with iron supplements. I know my grandma used to eat dirt for about 20 years before she figure out she was anemic. So please see a doctor, it could be very easily fixed. It could also have a psychological aspect so don't be surprised if your doctor also asks for you to see a psychiatrist. The fumes of gas are also intoxicating and can be addictive. Basically there is a lot of factors here and all of them are pretty serious to talk to your doctor and tell them about this.
You need to get in and see someone PRONTO! This is not a problem that we can help you with, and it is a serious problem. Yes, I'm sure that anything you put in your body that is foreign is going to hurt you, especially gas.
This is a dangerous game you are playing, and nobody here can help, you seriously need to go see someone about this. I would say, a forensic psychiatrist or someone in that field. And, TELL him what you are doing. Look in your local phone book or online for mental health people that deal with obsessive/compulsive disorders. You need help, and it doesn't matter at this point if your family knows about it or not, this is too serious to worry about that. You need to worry about your health.
