Arpizol and olimelt tablets ?

I've been prescribed Arpizol 15 mg and olimelt 10 mg by a psychiatrist. What is the purpose for it ? I had some ocd symptoms. But after taking the medicines, I feel sleepy, fatigue, lack of energy and memory problems too.

Definitely give your doc a call to discuss how you are feeling.  I'm not a doctor so I can't help you with the medications and what the usual side effects are.

I'm on Arpizol 15 mg morning and night and I still feel sleepy, lethargic all day long even after sleeping for 10 hours. Its been happening since 2-3 weeks.

Since they are working in concert, it may be that you are overmedicated and could get away with only using one of them.  Talk to your doctor about your symptoms and perhaps he/she will decide to taper you off of one of them.

Hi there....how long have you been on the medication?

Arpizol is the generic of Abilify which adjusts the activity of some key brain chemicals thought to play a role in OCD and anxiety such as dopamine and serotonin.

Olimelt is the generic of Zyprexa which is used to treat anxiety and depression and also works on controlling neurotransmitters in the brain.

A lot of medications that work for OCD are antidepressants.  Sometimes doctors will prescribe a regimen of medications to see how you are doing.  If you have been on them for a while, say about 4 weeks, and you are still having unwanted side effects then you should discuss with your doctor.
