How does Cocaine cure my anxiety ocd depression and insomnia

I have severe GAD/OCD and insomnia. Tried multiple meds the only one that worked was effexor. After 10 years it's losing its effect however I experimented and a small amount of Cocaine and my anxiety/ocd and insomnia completely dissappear for 5 days. Does this give any insight into the root of my problem?

Cocaine does not cure GAD/OCD.  You were just high.  You numbed it out which is what addicts do so don't go down that path. Many addicts have mental health disorders and they begin medicating in these ways to 'feel better'.  In the end, they have double or triple the problems.  You likely were just distracted and your brain was reacting to the drug.  But not in the positive way you are thinking.  There are new meds now since you went on Effexor 10 years ago.  Perhaps one will help you. And many doctors ADD ON medication to what you are currently taking with success. talk to your doctor. good luck
