Feel hopeless about my Obsession with religious numerology

Hi, Ive been suffering for the past 3 months on my obsession with religious numerology, namely, mathematical miracles in the quran. My problem is that I believe that since the mathematical miracles seem so amazing to me, it makes me feel like I'm going to hell because the quran has many reasons why someone will go to hell. I feel paralyzed with fear that I'm going to hell all the time and all ive been doing is reasearching all day to disprove the mathematical miracles. One of the miracles is that the quran repeats the word "day" 365" and that scares me so much that I try to find any reason to disprove it so that I can feel that I'm not going to hell. Its so distressing I need help. I feel like a therapist wouldn't be able to understand my problem... I am so hopeless...

You are stuck on something.  It really doesn't matter what we get stuck on, the main thing is that we are ruminating about something.  You can't let it go.  So yes therapy is the way to go...specifically a psychologist.  Don't think that they cannot help you.  They can.  My therapist told me once that there isn't anything I could say to her that she hasn't already heard before in some shape or form.
