I've had POCD for 3 years now, and I watch a lot of anime, AKA Japanese cartoons. It's distinct in that it's really, really cute. This is an example of a typical, "fully developed" character: http://amaburi.wikia.com/wiki/Sylphy

I get aroused by a lot of 16+ year old female anime characters, and I masturbate to them almost all the time. Recently, I noticed that while their breasts are pretty developed, their faces look really, really young. I'm not exaggerating when I say that a 17 year old's face is indistinguishable from an 8 year old's. And for me, the face was a huge part of the sex appeal.

Yet, all of the 7 doctors I've seen in the past 3 years say that I'm not a pedophile. But I started masturbating to anime girls before the POCD started...should I be worried?

I've been officially diagnosed with OCD, and yes, the doctors have noted that it's pretty much purely obsessional/pedophile focused.

I met my current doctor 2 weeks ago, and told her about the anime stuff. She said that I'm basically nitpicking, and I'm not a pedophile, in her opinion.

I was fine from then until yesterday, when I noticed that, girls that are 15 years old are still too young, and, well, I've always thought that it was ok to get turned on by 15 year old girls. By this, I mean anime girls; I haven't actually seen a high-schooler in the past year. But yeah, some of the characters are 15, and they're from a series with a lot of fanservice, so idk, maybe it's child porn...

Hi there.  I'm not a doctor and since you have seen 3 of them and they all have come to the same conclusion, then you must not be a pedophile. Did they officially diagnose you with POCD?  

I want to give you a little info about how OCD works.  We pick the most horrific things in our mind and we focus on them because why would we waste our time on the mundane?  We pick things that we cannot get closure on as well because we like to torture ourselves.  It is like going to war with your own mind and you need to find a way to overcome those negative things that pop up in your head.   Need to quiet or disregard that "second" voice that tells us up is down and black is white.  

Also, this may stem from not having any real world experience or much of it anyway.

There's this series called Scientific Railgun. It's really popular, and is kind of iconic. The core characters are 4 girls from 12-14 years old. The amount of sexual content in that series was enough to make me masturbate to the girls. I didn't actually watch the series, and I only saw some clips of it, but yes, there was a good amount of fanservice.

The girls, in retrospect, don't even look that old. Is this wrong?
