MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
You cannot make a specific TMJ diagnosis without a clinical examination.

Your MRI report is consistent with a long history of TMJ inflammation and trauma.  There are many things that may provide you with significant improvement.  Most patients get better without surgery and those requiring surgery often feel better afterwards.

You should see a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who provides TMJ therapy and treats temporal mandibular disorders.

I further suggest you seek consult with a mental health professional about your "depression".

A GIRL THAT WON BEST SMILE HER SENIOR YEAR IS FINDING IT HARD TO SMILE, AND THAT HURTS. I AM TAKING MEDS THAT HELP THE MAJORITY OF THE PAIN BUT IT IS ALWAYS THERE. I AM ALSO GOING TO THE STRONG HOSPITAL TMJD CLINIC IN ROCHESTER NY IN MAY. AGAIN, THANK YOU
