Ankle crush with no pain until a week later

I was moving a heavy table top.  It slid and caught my ankle between it and the wall.  After I freed my foot, there was a purple indent that went away within a half hour.  Only slight bump later that went away by the next day.   Now, a week later, a little bruising and a burning feeling at the impact point.  No other pain.  Anything to worry about?

Our bodies react so weird, don't they? You maybe hurt yourself deeper in with a layer of skin over top so the bruising didn't initially appear.  I'd give it a day (you could try ice on it if it hurts and ibuprofen is always a good bet for reducing swelling internally and pain) or two and see if it is better.  If you start to have more pain, I'd call your doctor otherwise, I would not tend to worry about this.
