Yesterday I had the 30 days checkup and the doctor told me that I can bear full weight on that foot. My question is if that is  possible considering that my fibula is also broken.I've been trying to walk bearing around 50% of my weight using crutches and the only discomfort I have is in my ankle and heel and in my knee around the screws when I bend my knee a little bit when stepping. I can also feel something moving around the upper part of the fibula. My doctor was saying that I can fully bear weight on the broken foot and I can start walking and then rushed me out of the checkup.

Hey. I can't bring up the X-rays however I have broken my tib and fib, I had the tib nail procedure. I had this done on the 15th August. I can walk without crutches I do have a bit of a limp at the minute. Walking up stairs is a little more difficult I have to step good leg first. My fib is still broken and I hear it click when I walk. I was told this is normal and it will heal on its own and not to worry about it. I stopped using crutches after 3 weeks (only used them for really long walks) what I did to help walking is stand with my crutches but not using them, Then shift my weight over to the bad foot. When I was sat down I'd move my foot up and down. Make sure you take pain killers as it is tender, if it doesn't feel right don't force it. If you want to know anything else let me know :)
