Broken Wrist / Parents who dont believe her / and getting help being underage...

My girlfriend was play fighting with her older brother on Saturday night and we think that he may have broken her wrist. Her wrist hurts, she can't touch it, not straighten her fingers because of pain. I had mine broken a couple years ago and I know the pain. From what she described it to me it's broken without doubt. I compared it with her other wrist and her left one (the one hurt) looks like if it was kind of twisted from her arm. Not a lot, just a little bit. It is a little bit swelled up around the wrist, but pretty badly swelled up on her hand and her fingers.

Her parents are old style. They think shes faking, that shes gonna be fine etc. They refuse to take her to the ER. Her mom however made an attempt to take her to the doc and got her appointment today but then later she called and said that the doc is supposebly out on vacation (Im checking on that soon as I got the number). So knowing that she can't wait long untill it begins to heal the wrong way- what do I do?? I'm 17, shes 15, she has insurance, her parents refuse to take her to the ER. Can i take her myself without her mom who will not go for this idea?? If not then where can I take her so she can get some help?? We're both underage but Im ready to do anything to get her help now :( Please tell me what I can do, because Im helpless now...

Hello Dear,
Unless a x-ray is done fracture cannot be diagnosed. She has to be taken to an orthopedic physician .It would be better if her parents take this initiative.I understand your feelings but you should not interfere between her parents. For the time being she can take some NSAID to relieve the pain.

Be a true friend and get her to accident and emergency at closests hospital as soon as possible and leave her there for the authorities to take care of her.....I don't trust her 'family's' 'intentions' .

Mine looked like that  and it's broken both sides
