Broken tib fib playing soccer

On December 5, 2013, i broke my tib fib playing soccer. The bones both broke in half and were displaced. The orthopedic surgeon said i didn't need surgery and my bone was repositioned and i was put in a cast. I had my sixteenth birthday with a cast on my right leg and i have had to cancel my driving test as i can't drive with a cast on. I will be with a full walking cast for another 2 weeks (its been 5) and then i will have a short walking cast for another 3 weeks. How long after that can i drive again and also how long until i play soccer. I will be going to physical therapy.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi!
I am sorry to hear about your medical problems. The bones of leg take about 6-8 weeks to unite and another few months to strengthen. So, once you are able to bear weight on them after physiotherapy and the muscles are strong enough (say about 4-6 weeks after cast is removed), you can take the driving test. Some doctors may allow it earlier, depending on the recovery. You may take longer to play soccer. Please consult your doctor regarding this. Take care!

The medical advice given should not be considered a substitute for medical care provided by a doctor who can examine you. The advice may not be completely correct for you as the doctor cannot examine you and does not know your complete medical history. Hence this reply to your post should only be considered as a guiding line and you must consult your doctor at the earliest for your medical problem.

Hello I broke my left leg (tib and fib) it was a spiral fracture. I was also playing a game of soccer. I've had surgery a plate and 10 screws it's bin 4 weeks now. So I wanted to ask how long till I walk and when can I play soccer again? I've gone to PT 3 times already.
