Hand Injury - Broken or Bruised

One week ago i had something (fan to be exact) fall off a cabinet in my home. I tried to catch it from falling however i got hit in my left hand (pinkie side) pretty hard. It left an immediate (small) indentation & scratch in the skin and bruised immediately. I have been icing it to keep the swelling down and keeping it wrapped in an ace bandage. The bruise is currently yellow in the center and light purple.

I currently do not have any health insurance therefore i have not been to the doctor to have it looked at. I have never broken any other bones except for a toe in my lifetime. Im starting to get a bit worried because i haven't been able to make a fist since it happened however i can move my hand around and used by thumb, index sand middle finger, still have a lump in the 5th metacarpal bone, tender to the touch. I have also been experiencing numbness and cold fingers in my left hand. And yesterday i had what i can only describe as a muscle spasm in my pinkie finger and pain radiating into my forearm.

Can someone tell me is what could be wrong and is it to late to do anything?
