I cut my Index Finger 2 years ago, but there is still pain when I bend it tightly

Hi I am Brian

I cut my Index Finger 2 years ago, but there is still pain when I bend it tightly

Cut Location = Index Finger on the left hand, a deep diagonal slash on the second segment of my index finger, the diagonal cut starts at the upper portion of the second segment and ends at the middle of the second segment of my index finger.

I can move it easily, but it kinda tingles and loses some sensation,

It play guitar, and the second segment of my index finger hurts when I curl it with more pressure and strength or bend it tightly

I was cut 2 years ago, but it still hurts a bit when I curl it with added strength specially when fretting my guitar.

What can I do, pls help... pls

Hey Brian!

Well, without an evaluation it would be difficult to predict the cause of your symptoms. Possibilities include hypertrophied scar with associated inflammation/ nerve pressure, nerve irritation/ trauma, infection, tendon/ ligament injuries/ inflammation, growths etc. It would be best to get this evaluated by a primary care physician initially, so that a cause can be identified; following which specialist management may be sought, if required.
Hope this was useful.

Take care!
