Intense pain in shin not shin splints and no one can figure it out please help!

I am in so much pain I want to die please someone if they know please help pleaseeeee! I got into car accident in 2015, have rod in tibia but have gotten xrays mri etc done.nothing shows up. There is a huge indent in my leg (he gave me a shot in shin to try helping not sure if it’s from that) I tried resting and read It could be hips So I think once I strengthen them and my hips it’ll help but this pain is extremely intense and I was crushed under the dashboard and have had a lot of injuries so I’m not sayinf I have a high tolerance but this is a whole new level of pain

Hello.  Welcome to the forum.  We are worried about you.  Pain levels to the extent to where death sounds better is severe and we recommend that you have this looked at immediately.  While nothing is showing up, that doesn't mean nothing is wrong.  I'd return to the doctor for further evaluation.  One possibility is scar tissue pain.  https://www.healthline.com/health/scar-tissue-pain  I can come on years after an accident and can involve nerve pain.  I would go  back and ask for further follow up.  Do you do physical therapy?  What type of pain help are you getting?
