Is severe inner thigh bruising after tibia IM nail?

I had a spiral fracture of my tibia on Aug 1st followed by IM Nailing on Aug 3rd. It has been 4 days since surgery. The swelling around my knee has decreased almost completely, but my foot is still quite swollen and purple.  I am having significant pain, but it is improving a little each day. I have been keeping my leg elevated almost constantly.

My concern is about the bruising on my inner thigh towards the back. I noticed it yesterday, and it has gotten much worse today. It is a dark reddish purple color over quite a large area. It is not painful. Should I be concerned about this? Is this normal?
