I've probably dislocated my knee more than 15 times since I was 13. Unintentionally of course. Sometimes, twice in a day! Mostly when I turn to sleep on my side, I would somehow dislocate my knee (mostly my left knee). The first few times hurt a lot! But somehow I would just grit my teeth, hold my leg and straighten it back. A 'pop' sound, and it is back in place. Takes about 5 minutes for the pain to go away.
This year alone, I dislocated my left knee 3 times! Recently it happened when I turned to my side, when I was sitting down on a chair! This never happened while I was sitting down. Although it doesn't hurts as bad as before, and there is no swollen knee whatsoever, I become very aware of the way I sleep (avoid moving too much and sleeping on my stomach more often) so I don't experience that piercing pain!
At about 17, I fell on my knee once when I failed to do a 'hand stand'. I trained for long distance running only for a year when I was 17 too. Now, I walk bout 30 minutes everyday to and fro college. My knees crack naturally when I stretch.
Although I don't seem to notice any side effects yet, is this... bad?
