Orthopedic help! please

Impressions from the MRI studies of lumbar and thoracic

- mild loss of vertebral body height anteriorly at L1 suggestive of a compression fracture of an indeterminate age.
- L5-S1 shows 10mm central and left paracentral disc protrusion  , impinging on traversing left S1 nerve root.
- mild narrowing of the inferior recess of the right neural foramen.

T-Spine

- 2-3 mm circumferential disc bulging at the type T2 T4 lvl with anterior impression on the thecal sac and deformity of the right anterolateral aspect of cord but no evidence of cord dema or impingement.

My current status:
I am experiencing constant pain throughout my left hip, knee feels like it's empty and hot, ankle and foot  is stiff and feels weak. Nagging pain in my neck, shoulder , wrist, and arms had developed and worsen in the past couple months.

I have been to two different chiros, orthos, and 1 acupuncture. 1 ortho stated that I need L5 S1 discetomy and laminectomy "immediately".  the other ortho states that I need epidural injection. chiros stated I do not need surgery... I am very confused from these different evaluations.

What should I do ??

That is interesting, especially the contradictory treatment plans.  Its hard to tell what you should do without more information. Were the symptoms sudden? How long have you had the pain?
