Strange pain in both of my shin bones

Ever since I had my son (now 9 months old) I have had this AWFUL pain in my shin bones. It doesn't hurt all the time, it only hurts if pressure is applied to it, but it is really painful when it does happen. Which is often since my son climbs all over me all the time. I'm just wondering if anyone has had this happen to them? At first I thought that I bruised my bone..but it's been 9 months. I haven't seen a doctor.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there!

Well, without a clinical evaluation it would be difficult to determine the cause of your pain. Possibilities that may need to be considered include shin-splints, bruise/ haematoma, periostitis, micronutrient deficiencies, neuro-muscular issues etc. I would suggest getting this evaluated by a primary care physician or an orthopedician for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate management.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!
