Tennis Elbow Questions... PLEASE answer a.s.a.p.

What typically causes tennis elbow?

Who typically gets tennis elbow?

How do you fix it?

If surgery is required, is it major surgery?

How much does the surgery typically cost?

How long does it take to recover after having the surgery?

Are there any special procedures that a patient is required/suggested to follow after the surgery?

Do most people make a full recovery? Are they able to go back to all of their previous physical activities without any problems?

Are there any alternatives to surgery?

Thanks!!!!! :)

Hi Megza, a couple months ago i got tennis elbow but though i tore a muscle whlle messing with my dogs until a co worker said i had tennis elbow so i research tennis elbow and saw exactly the symptoms i was expierencing.  no surgery, really no doctor cost unless you go to a orthopedic doctor.  i bought one of those bands that has velcro  that raps around the upper part of the forarm near the elbow and it helps greatly.  it has got better over time as i'm being more careful what i do while it heals.  it does act like a muscle tear.  i'm going to attach a couple links  good luck  Phill            http://orthopedics.about.com/cs/elbow/a/tenniselbow.htm
