sudden oinset pain and numbness in hands and fingers folowing l5-s1 fusion

why would I develope sudden onset pain and numbness in my hands/fingers following L5-S1 PLiF?

Thank you so much for listening and your advise. I will discuss with my doctor. I am actually noticing some improvement.

Hi there!

L5/ S1 PLiF is unlikely to be directly related to pain and numbness in the hands, though vascular/ clotting issues or anesthesia related causes may need to be ruled out aside causes unrelated to the surgery. You may consider getting this evaluated by your treating doctor or a primary care physician for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate management.
