Hi, I'm 15 years old and have always had some kind of back pain, whether it's upper, mid, lower or hip pain, I'm usually constantly in some kind of discomfort.
Anyways, the start of March 2018, I tore my right ACL, and have yet to have the surgery.
Recently, I woke up with a pain on the left side of my lower back/ hip, unlike any kind of pain I have had before on my back, more like a cramp-type pain right in my hip. 2 days later I noticed that the front of my left thigh and groin area were very itchy, but no rash or bumps or anything.
A day or two after that, my thigh began to sting almost like a sunburn, just on the surface of my skin, meanwhile I still have pain all in my hip.
I'm not 100% sure, but I believe the stinging and hip pain are related, otherwise it's just a really weird coincidence.
From the little bit of research that I have done, I think that it could be Meralgia Paresthetica, (which is a compressed nerve) as all of my symptoms line up.
I think this is because I haven't been using my right leg as much, so I've been putting most of my weight on my left leg, which has compressed my nerve.
I have an appointment in a week or two with my physio, which means that they might try to figure this whole situation out, otherwise I will go to the chiropractor and get my back realigned, which I have kind of been wanting to go for ages anyway.
