What happens if L2-4 Spinal Fractures do not heal (non-union) after 60 days?

Follow up scan showed that L2-4 spinal fractures are still evident and my accident happened 60 days ago. What happens now? Am I at risk if I increase my activity since they are detached? I scheduled an appointment with my doctor but am anxious he will tell me to give it more time. I’m not in pain.

Did you have our appointment yet?  What kind of accident was it?  Scary when our spin is involved, for sure.  I would speed up getting in to see the doctor.  You may be in line for fusion surgery.  And you'd want to make sure that there isn't an infection or something else preventing the bones fusing together.  Are you in pain?
