Why is my knee still having pain?

So about four months ago now I partially dislocated my knee when I fell into a hole in the ground. So I went to my orthopedic told her I dislocated it again. She thought I might’ve partially torn some stuff. So I got an mri and nothing was torn. I just had a really bad bone bruise. So I went three months of no activity and going to physical therapy. But my knee on the side of it still occasionally hurts even though I have gotten cleared. Anyone know why?

Sometimes bone brushing and sprains talks a long while to heal.  As long as you communicated. To your orthopedist that it occasionally hurts then you should be ok. If it gets worse with more activity I would definitely phone her again to let her know. Hope you recover without anymore pain!
