Will this require surgery ?


IMPRESSION
1.   High-grade articular cartilage defect with marginal flap formation median
     patellar ridge.
2.   Edema adjacent to the medial collateral ligament fibers and this could
     represent a mild sprain in the setting of trauma.
3.   Medial and lateral menisci are intact.  Anterior and posterior cruciate
     ligaments are intact.  Lateral collateral ligament complex is intact.
