Pain in lower rib cage after attempting 1 Handed Push up

Hello, due to the fact I have no medical insurance an I don't feel this is a emergency I figured I'd give this forum a shot. Three days ago, I attempted to do a one handed push up an injured myself.  I am a 28 year old male and am in fairly good shape.  I had my right hand on the ground and my left hand behind my back.  As I was coming down I felt two cracks, or pops near the left side of my back/side.  I fell to the ground, which wasn't a hard impact at all.  When I got up, I saw a few stars an felt a bit of nausea.  The pain/discomfort followed an I felt really out of it the rest of the night.  It is now day 3 an the pain is still present.  The majority of the pain/discomfort is on the bottom of my left front rib cage.  When I take a deep breath in an hold it, it hurts as well as move around really.  It is VERY tender to the touch.  I cant fathom the idea of breaking or cracking a rib from just trying 1 push up, but is it possible?  Could all of my weight shifted from my arm an transferred to my side?  I really appreciate your response.  I've been taking ibuprofen an tylenol, which seem to help a little.  Thanks again

You can pop a rib out of place. You could of strained your lats. Where was the pop and crack at.? Try going to chiripractor. And use ice
