scoliosis & severe pelvic pain? (urgent:(

can severe scoliosis cause extreme pelvic pain? like vaginal stabbing pain (never burning, its like thin knifes)

sometimes the pain happens when i move, if i twist my body in a weird way, if i sit a certain way,

other times it happens when i eat
i get extreme gas and i feel it in my lower stomach, sometimes my vagina literally starts stabbing me and its an 13/10 pain

most of the time when i chew gum, as soon as i start chewing it my pelvic starts stabbing me.

i have really bad gas amd cant do much physical activity without it hurting. is it possible for my scoliosis to make food AND physical activity to cause me pelvic pain?

idk. like i cant even chew gum anymore without pelvic pain. is my scoliosis causing this? ive never in my life had these problems before my scoliosis started progressing really quickly. my curve is really really bad, and before it was this bad i could eat whatever i wanted without pain, do whatever i wanted without pain.

could my scoliosis cause this?

Hello and welcome to MedHelp's forums.  We appreciate your question but are sorry you have this difficulty?  Are you currently followed by a doctor for your scoliosis?  This would be a good time to set up an appointment to discuss this.  In a short answer, yes, there are links between scoliosis and pelvic pain, vaginal pain. How that ties into eating, gas and physical activity, you would need to speak to your doctor. The shift in your body when doing those things could be the possible reason for the flare up of pain.  That must be really hard on you though to have a chronic situation like this.  Your doctor may have some recommendations for you.  Here is a general article on scoliosis. https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/scoliosis/symptoms-causes/syc-20350716.

But because there is a possibility that it isn't all tied together, you should have an examination by your doctor.  Perhaps treating the symptom of gas in itself would help the issue and you'd want to rule out other possibilities for why you have pelvic pain.

Do you have a regular doctor that you can see?
