shoulder test

What this shoulder MRI  result means?
Retracted  full thickness supraspinatus tendon tear which mesures 3.4 cm longitudinally X 1.3 cm anteroposteriorly. Diffuse decrease in the caliber of the supraspinatus muscle with atrophy.
synovial fluid at the level of the glenohumeral articulation with extension into the rotator interval capsule and slightly into the proxinal subscapularis bursa. Some fluid in the long head  of the biceps tendon sheath, Supraspinatus tendon is in homogeneous with tendinosis at its distal aspect. glenoid spurring at its anterior margin ,erosion of the anterior labrum without definite tear..
I was advised surgery...

Yes i would hsve to agree and do advise u go and have and get surgery as soon as possible. Take care
