swollen foot from tauma

hi my daughter had a trolley fall of recycle paper in it fall onto her foot 4 days ago she had 2 xrays which were clear but it is showing no signs of improvement her foot is swollen,bruised and very painful is unable to weight bear i returned to a & e again today but was sent away again , i read about all the cuboid and lisfranc fractures on the web which concern me but the doc at hospital doesn't seem interested i would appreciate any one with similar experiences to tell me about their experiences

Hello Dear
You can apply some NSAID ointment to relieve the pain.Keep her foot elevated and you can use ice packs. She should take rest and minimize activities for some days. If the pain still persista ypu should go in for a second opinion.
