what to wear

This question is coming from a someone with a 'vicodin brain' so please be patient.
I have a snowmobile accident and received a depression fracture of the lateral tibial plateau. Had Open reduction, internal fixation with allograft bone graft. I now have to wear a knee immobilizer and no weight bearing for 6 weeks.
What do you wear over the brace??? It's winter and I'm freezing sitting here in my underwear. Either nothing fits over it or it catches on the velcro.....
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks

Definitely not a fashion statement, but I think I fixed the problem this morning.
I took my brace off and examined it. There was 6 2"x2" squares of velcro on my immobilizer and when I would try to put anything on they would just stick to them.
So I found some old velcro here and attached it to the squares, now I can get dressed.
The problem originally was that all my sweats and pj's stuck to that dumb stuff!!!!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello!

I would suggest you if possible to stay in a warm environment when resting. Whenever you go out you can always wear loose trousers or pyjamas, may be custom made for you during this period of recovery. Discuss with a tailor.

Take care!

Hi!    You certainly won't be making any kind of fashion statement(or maybe you will..Ha) I wore pajama bottoms for the better part of 4 months. Better than underwear!   Speedy recovery!
