Chris, thanks for the news, it was what I was deading to hear, but in my heart, knew, Helen was a very special lady, alsway willing to advise others, even though things were not always going right for her, Jato was another, they became friends from afar, giving me support when my wife passed away in Jan this year.
Marie, every day I visit this site, watching you very brave ladies fight this terrible burdon put on you. You do it with grace and dignaty. The caregivers who are asking questions, getting answers from those you have been through the same. You are all very special to me and my son and daughter. Thanks for think of Vi when you released the balloons, it is very touching that others think of her, even though they never met. Thanks.
To help in our own way, family members have ran the 'race for life' in aid of OC, we have Violets 'Ashes' pot that people place there loose change in, we give it full each month to the local cancer hospital King Hussain Cancer Hospital, to assist with OC patients who do not have a lot money. We will continue this and other things, including building a medical hospital that will be a non profit concern, (I am a Real Esate Developer), to help what way we can. Me and others like me are always around, so if we can assist ask, Alan is another great helper, Cheers Alan. Steve
I am sorry to hear another sister has been taken by this awful disease. I thought of your dear wife as we released the teal balloons in Springfield in memory of those having gone before us. Thank you for still thinking of us still here fighting ovca. Marie
Steve,
I am very sorry to have to inform you that Helmar has passed away. The girls on the other forum ovca.net have only just recieved the news this morning.
From what I understand, she passed away at home, sometime last Fri or Sat. Her son found one of the girls name from the other forum and gave her the news.
I am so very sorry to have to give you this news, but I would not feel right if I hadn't told you.
I am so very sorry
Chris
Steve,
I am checking in to this for you, but I need to know, is Helmar's real name Helen?
Chris
Steve,
I have not heard from her in awhile either. I know that she is also a member of another forum and I will go there and see if anyone has news of her.
If I hear anything I will be sure to let you know.
Chris
