I feel alone

I am 48 y/o, 2 vaginal births, last period 5-07, mother died in 20's, both grandmothers died young, no aunts or great aunts, no history of cancer. In May developed pelvic pain/pressure, rectal pressure GYN vs in June showed ovarian cyst, fluid, blood filled, no big deal, CA 125=20, three weeks later CA 125=25.9, pain continued and moved into L leg.  GYN sent me to GYN oncologist, she did pelvic and rectal exam, ordered CT scan but said I don't have cancer or endemetrious, thinks it is GI problem or sciatica.  Recommended I see Gastro. Lower L pelvic pain at times is severe but always present.  I feel like they blowing me off.  Am I over reacting?

Dear Mary Joe,
thank you for your complete information.
You have had a good work up. If the Ct scan was normal, it doe make sense to check the GI track. If that is normal and you continue to have pelvic pain, you should ask your doctor about a diagnostic laparoscopy.
best wishes

Read my postings, 8/13 Beckyy, I would get a second opinion, I have every year when my Mamogram shows something, then I start getting very persistent about the issues.  Just keep going till you feel you got the right answers.  Good Luck Mary Joe.....
