Information to Share

Hi Everyone, haven't posted in here in a while, but had alittle information I wanted to share and get passed around, in a national magazine, I came across an full page advertisement that says : Kelly Ripa & Molly Sims are Fighting for a Cure.  LIVE Super Saturday on QVC on 7/26, starting at 2pm they will be selling all kinds of stuff at fantastic prices, but best of all, all NET Proceeds benefit the OVARIAN CANCER RESEARCH FUND.  It looks like they will be having alot of big time sponsors.  Looks like a great opportunity.  I am so glad to see some big names fighting for "us" and Ovarian Cancer!!!
Thoughts and Prayers to everyone!!

BUMP!!! I'm not sure why, but this post prompted many tears. I guess I'm just happy that slowly we are getting the support we need. D

I absolutely agree!!  Took me totally by surprise when I was flipping through my magazines.  It makes me mad where some of these big named celebs are directly touched by Ovarian Cancer (i.e Angelina Jolie, Barbara Walters, Joy Behar) they would have so much power to make a difference, and nothing from them.  Remember QVC has open phone lines during their shows, you can call about a product they are showing, but also make a LIVE statement, about "what a great cause this is!!"

Thanks for the info. Yes that is just the kind of thing that we need. Maybe one of these days it will catch on and we will start seeing more of the same.
