April 2008, I was diagnosed with stage 3C. Surgery, including debulking and 6 treatments of chemo, including blood transfusion and blood clot. Finished all the end of October 2008. I have 100% more energy than I had at the end of chemo, but do not have even half the energy I had before the diagnosis. I can only do one thing a day (afternoon or evening) and even with the modified schedule, most of the time I need to stay in bed every other day to rest. I used to be high energy. Ran day and night. I was 62 when diagnosed. I have had everything checked out. Heart, lungs, blood work. Everything is fine. My doctor said it is not usual for the tiredness to last this long. I get vitamin B12 shots once a month and take vitamins. Nothing seems to make any difference. I don't sleep extremely well, but haven't for the last 15 years (since menopause). Do other people have this? What can I do to get my old energy back? Will it just take more time?
