Mum's Passing

My mother passed away on 18 September 2010 after more than a 5 year battle with stage 4 Ovarian Cancer. I would like to add her name on the memorial page but am unable to do it, can a moderator do that for me? Her name was Kathleen Parker.

I will continue to pray for all you brave ladies who are still fighting this awful disease and hope that medical research will soon find some answers for you. This disease does not get the recognition it rightly deserves so we all must continue the publicity fight for future ovca sisters.

Thankyou all for your kind thoughts, it's reassuring to connect to ladies who understand this disease. My parents were happily married for 51 years and Dad is absolutely crushed and lost, my role is to be here for him now and to pass on my mother's strength in any way I can. Hugs to all of you.

Carolyn - that's such sad news. You're probably feeling that empty hole right in your heart right now. She's free of all the pain and treatments but you're facing the loneliness.
