Is Ca blood test result 49 serious.

I went to GP because I needed to wee urgently, felt tired and lower tummy is bloated and aching, also painful sex,  I had a ca blood test, result 49 - then a scan but sonographer couldn't see both ovaries.  Should I insist on a CT scan to try and get more info?  My symptoms are same, but I also have achy hips/pelvis and legs - all symptoms are v new, prev I was v active and healthy

A CT scan might help. What does your doctor suggest? You might want to see a GYN/oncologist not because of cancer but because they do more complex gyn cases. Ovarian cancer is not that common but it is overlooked. The blame it on many other things. If it is not it would be great to know that for sure.
