On a positive note.
Seems there is something terrible happening every day to wonderful women here.....I am going to post this anyway..... I had an appt with my gyn/onc last Monday....my CA125 reading was 3.2 and this month makes it 3 years since my last chemo! Sometimes I feel guilty ....that's stupid, I know. I am the luckiest person I know.....I just wish we could all be so lucky.
A little good news is meant to be shared with everyone!

Thank you guys so much! I can feel the love and compassion we all share.....surely there is enough here to melt the ice and indifference also expressed on occasion by some who just don't seem to get it.
Anyway.....thank you all for allowing. and encouraging me ,to "keep up the hope".

Having read some of the other not so nice posts, reading yours calms me, and makes me feel so at ease. It also makes me very excited for you!! Three years with no recurrence...5 of the best words I've heard in a long time! Congratulations!! Thanks for sharing with us!

It is always so good to hear from you especially with such a joyous announcement!!! You should only feel guilty if you are holding all the fate cards and dealing yourself some good fate from the bottom of the deck. LOL You're here because you are here and we are all glad that you are.
Good news doesn't change bad news, but it does offer hope and we can use all of that we can get. Thank you for sharing your wondrous news, and for infusing a little hope into the forum. Keep up the good work (reports).

I am a spectator in this race, I run along the side cheering you on, picking you up when you fall, urging you to keep right in the middle of the track, telling you to keep right on running, because all of you are champions. The race is a long one, some will not finsih, but others will keep reaching for that finish line. I see you all as winners. You congratulate those that reach one of hurdles, and go right over it, to land safely on the other side. You encourage those that falter, by telling them that the finish line is just over the next hill. I am joined in my cheering by those that could not finish the race, they want you to win. There are no trophies to hand out here, only "goal accomplished." In this race there are only winners, just know that your cheering section is also made up of winners. Dian, can you hear them cheering for you? I can.
I hope that you Ca 125 never ever ever goes any higher... what great news...and we love great and good news here.. Congratulations on 3 years.. Ronni

That is just awesome news. I know what you are saying because there are times when I also feel guilty when things are going the way they are supposed to . But when they aren't, I have no bad feelings towards those with good news, only joy that things are going so well for them. I think that is pretty much how we all are here.
I wish you many more chemo free years and that your CA stays at 3 and below!
